Dr. Hendrieka “Hennie” Fitzpatrick received her medical degree fr
om
the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, in 1981. She completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University and was Board Certified in Family Practice Medicine in 1992. Prior to becoming medical director of Integrated Health Medical Center, she provided medical care for the underserved as the physician in charge of the “Healthy Tomorrows” Mobile Van, sponsored by Presbyterian Medical Services in Santa Fe. A pioneer medical doctor in the United States for European Biological Medicine, she teaches physicians nationally.
She was born in Baltimore in 1955 and has 5 fabulous children, 3 daughters and 2 sons. She balances her professional life with as much wildness (instinctual, intuitive feeling activity) as she can fit in. This includes African dance, running, swimming, bicycling, making art, and performing in the annual woman’s circus. She is a practicing Tibetan Buddhist and has a deep love for mother earth and Native American theology as well.
She has a spiced interest in treating adolescents and children and empowering them to take care of their health from an early age. She has 20 years of experience teaching sensuality and sexuality to teenagers and conducting rites of passage for teens. As a pioneer of Biological Medicine in this country her mission is to educate everyone to understand the innate wisdom that resides within each of our magnificent beings so we can all be healthy and happy.
Dr. Fitzpatrick’s Integrated Health Medical Center offers tremendous expertise and assistance to the person who is willing to take responsibility for his or her health and also participates fully in the detective work necessary to discover where and when problems began or where the vulnerabilities lie that could produce problems in the future
